Podle Erica Schmidta (Google CEO) je Android již nyní ziskový a trh s mobilní inzerci odhaduje na 10 miliard dolarů. S očekávanou jednou miliardou Android telefonů na trhu by to mohlo znamenat hodně zajímavé příjmy. A Microsoft? Ten se snaží Android zlikvidovat. Žaluje Motorolu.

Máte Android? Pak velmi pravděpodobně patříte do nejméně sexuálně aktivní skupiny. S Blackberry jste na tom o něco lépe. Jablíčkáři ovšem nemají konkurenci, poráží ostatní uživatele zcela bezkonkurenčně.

The number of active iPhone users in the US has passed that of Windows Mobile for the first time, new data from comScore shows. After just pulling even with Microsoft in July, Apple's smartphone platform jumped to an average of 8.97 million current users in October, well ahead of Microsoft's 7.13 million. The iPhone has regularly had higher market share now has also surpassed Windows Mobile devices in its actual user base.
Among smartphones, the iPhone is still second to RIM's BlackBerry, which has about 14.96 million users. Palm's introduction of the Pre has kept its active population growing to about 2.84 million, while Android and Symbian are growing but trail behind at 1.02 million and 1.3 million users each.

Although Nokia, based near Helsinki in Espoo, still commands 37 percent of the world’s handset market, it’s facing bruising competition in the lucrative high end of the industry, where Apple’s iPhone and Research in Motion’s BlackBerry have grabbed the cool factor in smartphones that can surf the Web and handle e-mail. “The whole user experience is a nightmare,” moans Nick Jones, a senior analyst with Gartner, which tracks the technology sector. “It’s just not in any sense a competitive experience with iPhone.”
