Last night, we started seeing some Tweets from Google employees and others about a new Android-powered Google phone that was apparently handed out at an “all hands” meeting. Now Google is confirming
that it is indeed “dogfood” testing a new Android device with employees around the world.

Facebook controversially forced profile pictures into public and pushed users to share candids with the whole world. So now we're blessed with pics of the social network's young CEO shirtless, romantic, and clutching a teddy bear. As a result of it, Mark Zuckerberg has gone from sharing very little of his personal Facebook content with the public to sharing a whole lot, True/Slant's Kashmir Hill has noticed.

Nintendo's U.S. Wii sales continued sliding in November, as they fell 38% year over year to 1.3 million units, according to NPD group. (Yes, they increased from October, as they do every year. But they're still down from last year, despite a $50 price cut at the end of September.) While it's still the leader amongst consoles in unit sales, the growth potential of the current Wii doesn't look very promising. Nintendo's year-over-year sales have been negative since March. Soon it will be time for something new from Nintendo.

Way back in April, German company Scoreloop launched a social gaming platform of the same name, for the booming iPhone/iPod Touch developer platform. Today, roughly eight months later, the company is expanding that service to another rapidly growing, and similar, mobile platform: Android. With this announcement, social developers for the Android platform will not only receive all the perks iPhone developers have seen, but also get access to the white-label platform, Core Social and its Premium Integration Services.

The United States Congress told the Federal Trade Commission in March to study the level of access that minors in virtual worlds have to explicit content. An FTC commission released the results earlier this week, and they generally shows what you’d expect — minors are able to access some explicit content in some virtual worlds, despite various efforts by virtual world companies to stop them. Notably, the explicit content was mostly user generated text (chats, entries on message boards, etc).
